Established in 1953, Brunswick Athletics Club was one of the first women-only athletics clubs in Melbourne. We've since expanded to welcome members of all sexes, all ages — starting from 11 years old — and all abilities.

Whether you're chasing your first PB or training for elite competition, our coaching team helps you develop every aspect of your performance — from race-specific fitness to peaking at the right time of year.

As well as competing in track and field throughout the summer season, Brunswick Athletics Club has a strong social culture and fantastic end-of-season Trophy Presentation nights — some of the best of any club in Victoria.

The Founding

Brunswick Athletics Club is established as one of Melbourne's first women-only athletics clubs, breaking barriers in Australian sport. The club quickly builds a reputation for excellence and community spirit that endures to this day.
